We, the members of the Shepherdstown Police Department believe that policing is an interactive, results-oriented partnership between the police and our community. This partnership identifies problems affecting the quality of life in the community, develops strategies to address those problems, and takes responsibility to implement solutions using all available resources.
Our Mission
The Shepherdstown Police Department exists for the purpose of providing an enhanced level of safety in our community, protecting the rights guaranteed to all people by the Constitution, and improving the quality of life for each citizen.
