2:18 p.m. Update: This is a public service announcement from the Shepherdstown Water Department for water customers in the following areas: Mill Street and all areas east of Mill Street including parts of German Street, College Street, Ray Street, River Road, Ridge Valley Court and Route 230. The water leak has been repaired. There is a boil water advisory in effect until further notice. This advisory is in effect only for customers who lost water service. This is a public service message from the Shepherdstown Water Department. A water main leak has been discovered near the east end of town. The leak is currently being repaired. Customers in the Mill Street area and eastward may lose water. Once your water service is restored, a boil water advisory will be in effect. Boil water for three minutes before consuming.
