The Shepherdstown Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants in the Colonial Hills area on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. During this period, customers may experience intermittent low water pressure. Also, as a result of the hydrant flushing, customers may notice “cloudy” water from time to time. This is the result of sediment in the water pipes being stirred up and will clear on its own in a short period of time.
The Shepherdstown Water Department would like to thank its customers for their patience during this period of required maintenance to the water system.
Any questions may be directed the Shepherdstown Water Plant at 304-876-2394.
