The kindness and caring of our community. Positive voices from our neighbors, family and friends that provide hope for now and the future. The Shepherdstown Town Council and Mayor Auxer have agreed to extend this season’s “free holiday” meter parking from November 26, 2020 until January 11, 2021. This means that Shepherdstown visitors and residents can park at metered spaces without depositing coins or using the Passport parking program during this period. Enforcement of all other parking regulations and ordinances (e.g., residential parking, loading zones, etc.) will remain in effect.

In addition, Shepherd University has generously agreed to allow visitors and residents to park at “A” lot (located at the corners of East High St and North Princess St) during this period.

If one needs additional clarification, please contact the Town Clerk or Mayor’s office at 304 876 2312 or call the Shepherdstown Police Department at 304 876 6036.
