Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the Shepherdstown Community. I want to thank everyone who provided the effort to make our Christmas Celebration and parade a great success.
When thinking of our Town I know that we try to make every day feel like Christmas, we are a giving and forgiving community. Ghandi quoted “mutual courtesy and respect are the foundations of culture”. As your Mayor my gift is hope. My hope for Shepherdstown is to enhance its sense of community and to preserve and value our rich history. To love our neighbors and stand together to protect the values we hold dear.
Thanks to all of you for your support. I am proud to be your Mayor and wish you all a happy holiday. And when you encounter one of our Town Council Members, volunteers, and our dedicated employees wish them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
